Frodo Baggins (aka Ringbearer)
Age: 50
Sex: Male
Race: Hobbit
Weapon of Choice: Sting
Adopted heir of Bilbo Baggins,
this lad received the ring on his 33rd birthday,
which was also Bilbo's (he was
111). Gandalf came to him many years later
and told him the peril of the ring.
He set out on his 50th birthday because that was
the age Bilbo was when he set out
on the Quest of Erebor (aka Lonely Mountain).
He brought the ring to Mount Doom,
but decided to keep his "precious" as Smea'gol had
called it. Smea'gol cut Frodo's
finger off and took the ring. In all his rejoicing Smea'gol
fell himself into the Cracks of
Doom.
Sam Gamgee
Age: 30's
Sex: Male
Race: Hobbit
Weapon of Choice: Barrow Blade
and Sting
Faithful servant of Frodo, this
tater-loving gardener saved Frodo's life more than once.
He thought Frodo was dead after
their encounter with Shelob. So, he took the ring, sting, and
Galadriel's phial. After listening
in on an orcish conversation, he learned that Frodo wasn't dead,
just deeply asleep from the spider's
poison. He followed the orcs into a secret passage, but was too
late to enter the passageway. So,
he went around the main entrance, but their were watchers there.
Then, without much thought he lifted
up the phial and the watchers' will was broken. He went into the
Tower of Cirith Ungol and rescued
Frodo from the orcs.
Pippen Took
Age: 29
Sex: Male
Race: Hobbit
Weapon of Choice: Barrow Blade
Friend of Frodo and knight of Gondor.
He was saved by Boromir from orcs at Emyn Muil. Gandalf had originally
told Pippen and Merry not to join

He was knocked out saving Beregond
in that battle.

He was saved when Aragorn healed
him with some athelas. He was healed shortly afterwards, but was too weak
